Connected suppliers

Dec 9, 2024

Why is it changing?

The term active supplier is already used by buyers to manage the registration status of the supplier in their ERPs and management systems.

With that, the use of the same term with a different meaning within Linkana is very confusing and does not allow the user to properly manage their vendor list of active and blocked suppliers on the platform.

Besides the name, the current concept of an active supplier is inflexible: the user cannot deactivate a supplier with a qualification in progress, for example, which complicates the control of the monthly volume used on the platform.

What's coming next?

Connected Supplier 🔗

The supplier connected is the new concept that defines the monthly volume used in the product, no longer getting confused with the concept of a supplier with active registration in your ERP or spend.

Maintaining an active connection with a supplier ensures the following controls and features:

Automatic Monitoring: Ensures that the supplier is being continuously and automatically monitored by the system, with regular updates of certificates and public information, as well as alerts on changes and document expirations.

Relationship Management: Allows the user to perform all SRM actions with the supplier, such as requesting documents, qualifying and re-qualifying, blocking registrations, conducting performance evaluations, and sending messages. 💡

With the change, you will be able to disconnect suppliers at any time, controlling your monthly billing more flexibly.

Disconnected Supplier ❌🔗

When a supplier is disconnected, its Automatic Monitoring and Relationship Management features will be deactivated, but the history of sent documents, actions performed, and reports will remain available for viewing and consultation.

If you wish, you can reconnect a supplier at any time with just one click. 🔗

Monthly Volume 💲

As it already works today, Linkana will count monthly the number of connected suppliers to define the monthly volume tier of the product.

⚠️ Remembering that the disconnected or deleted supplier by the user will only cease to be counted from the month following its removal!

Will I pay more? How much will it change?

Don't worry! There will be no additional charges or costs with this conceptual migration.

Besides greater flexibility, the only change you will see in the product is a change of nomenclature with which you are accustomed and a more organized panel for volume control :)

The change should happen this year, agreed?
