Connected suppliers

Connected suppliers

Dec 9, 2024

Why is it changing?

The term active supplier is already used by buyers to manage the supplier's registration status in their ERPs and management systems.

Therefore, using the same term with a different meaning within Linkana is very confusing, and does not allow the user to correctly manage their vendor list of active and blocked suppliers on the platform.

Besides the name, the current concept of active supplier is inflexible: the user cannot deactivate a supplier with ongoing approval, for example, which bureaucratizes the control of the monthly volume used on the platform.

What's new?

Connected Supplier 🔗

The connected supplier is the new concept that defines the monthly volume used in the product, no longer confusing it with the concept of a supplier with an active registration in their ERP or spend.

Maintaining an active connection with a supplier ensures the following controls and resources:

Automatic Monitoring: Ensures that the supplier is being continuously and automatically monitored by the system, with regular updates of certificates and public information, as well as alerts about changes and document expirations.

Relationship Management: Allows the user to perform all SRM actions with the supplier, such as requesting documents, approving and re-approving, blocking registrations, conducting performance evaluations, and sending messages. 💡

With this change, you will be able to disconnect suppliers at any time, controlling your monthly billing volume more flexibly.

Disconnected Supplier ❌🔗

When a supplier is disconnected, its Automatic Monitoring and Relationship Management functionalities will be disabled, but the history of sent documents, actions taken, and reports will remain available for viewing and consultation.

If you wish, you can reconnect a supplier at any time with just one click. 🔗

Monthly Volume 💲

Just as it works today, Linkana will count the number of connected suppliers monthly to define the monthly volume range of the product.

⚠️ Remember that the disconnected or deleted supplier will only cease to be counted from the month following its removal!

Will I pay more? How much will change?

Don’t worry! There will be no type of charge or additional costs with this conceptual migration.

In addition to greater flexibility, the only change you will see in the product is a change in terminology that you are accustomed to and a more organized panel for controlling the volume :)

The change should happen this year, agreed?
